The InTouch™ CA8900 Digital Thermostat gives the user even greater energy
management capabilities within their InTouch™ home. This heating and cooling
thermostat is designed to work with any contemporary 24 VAC HVAC unit. The InTouch
In-Wall Switch is a Z-Wave™ enabled device which is fully compatible with
any Z-wave enabled network. Z-wave enabled devices display the Z-wave logo and
guarantee connectivity and interoperability between devices. Each line powered
node in a Z-Wave network is designed to act as a repeater forming a mesh network
eliminating radio “dead spots” and providing the highest level of
reliability.
Adding the InTouch Digital Thermostat to your HomeRemote system allows you to
control the temperature of your home or office. Live Green! Create more energy
efficient home while maintain a comfortable temperature with a touch of a button
from an InTouch Handheld Remote Control, internet web browser or cellular phone.
There's no need to run costly wires. With the HomeRemote system and the InTouch
Digital Thermostat, you can set schedules for your device to turn on and off
automatically at a specific time each day. Each module acts as a repeater, so
adding more modules to your HomeRemote Z-Wave network increases your overall
range. The HomeRemote System also lets you link other Z-Wave based devices in
your home to your InTouch Wall Switch. You can link the InTouch In-Wall Switch
to another Z-wave enabled device, such the InTouch Wireless In-Wall Switch.
For example, you can preset your thermostat higher at night and turn off the
light at the same time, with one touch on your remote, web browser or your cellular
phone.
